Turn off the candles before you leave the room and never go to bed with a candle still burning.

Use a fire bell or spoon to put out the candle.

Do not place candles under the shelves.

Make sure there is at least three feet between a candle and each surface above it.

Place the candles on a heat-resistant surface and be especially careful with plastic surfaces, the candle may heat up and the heat may be enough to melt the plastic.
